Oh, Brett.....

My funny man Brett.....
Here he is trying on his stocking to prove to me it isn't his....as it doesn't fit him. Such a silly boy.
He was recently told by me to not stand in the exhaust of the van as it wasn't good to breathe and it could kill him. Point taken. A few days later as we were making a cold walk from the car into Target Brett freaked and said, "MOM! I'm going to die! I breathed that smoke! Look!" I looked down to see him breathing out his breath, which we could see in the cold temps. He thought is was the same as the exhaust! Hilarious!
To top it off in the last few months he tried to get out of going to school due to the hiccups! I told him sorry but hiccups weren't a way to get out of going to school. He followed it with, "but Mom, if I go to school with the hiccups I'll give all my friends the hiccups!" Ya gotta love it! He always keeps us guessing!

Random pics

Here's Scott freezing on the roof hanging Christmas lights....I don't think he liked my, " remember that really nice weather in Nov....we should have done this then...." comment. Thanks Babe, the lights look great.

Our neighbors moved and they gave us their 14ft trampoline. SCORE! I probably would have never purchased one for them, but take one off a neighbors hands...OK! Thanks Fords!
The kids were thrilled when Daddy decided to come play too!
We rearranged the basement to create a larger area for toys (sigh)....we were able to put the toy kitchen down there now vice Brett's room where it's been. The babies LOVE to play down there now.....if only the big kids would keep the little toys picked up so it's not a huge choking hazard for them.....it's a constant battle! Here's a picture of Addison and Brady playing.

Game Night!

Playing Hullaballoo.
Hi Ho! Cherrio.....Or cheerio, if you ask Brett!

We had to give Brady a card so he'd stop attacking us.

UNO!
We had a fun game night. We let the kids pick the games.....we also played Elefun. The kids had a great time, that's what counts!

Grandma Vicki's Birthday

Scott's mom and some of her sisters and Dad stopped by one Sunday for a bit. They were headed to the casino for Vicki's Birthday celebration.....they only stopped for a short time but made time for cake, ice cream and singing! The kids had fun 'surprising' Grandma with a party!
Linda, Danny, Brett, Grandpa Mike, Scott and Brady enjoying some cake and ice cream.
Great Aunt Sherry and Addison.

Home repair and the sucker

Brett thought he'd be nice and let Addison taste his sucker......she loved it, naturally, and was torked when he was done sharing.

Thanksgiving weekend turned into a project weekend. When we returned home from Florida I noticed a wet spot that I had previously noticed in the basement ceiling had gotten larger....with that Scott put a hole in the ceiling and wall to try and locate the leak that we assumed was originating in the upstairs bathroom. We discovered it must be the toilet so as he watched the pipes....I flushed.....it wasn't good. For who knows how long with each flush the toilet was leaking...and not just water...yuck! This led us to remove the toilet, flooring, and sub floor in the bathroom and replace it all. Scott worked his tail off and had it all out and back in in two days...needless to say he was one tired boy....so much for those few days off. I wonder what will break over Christmas.....sheesh. I did get new flooring in that bathroom out of the deal!!!

Thanksgiving - Scott's side

Children's Museum

Two happy campers!
Yep, that's what the girl needs....a straight jacket, no wait, that's me who needs one! You should have seen the look on her face when I fastened her in then walked away, HA!

Scott ditched work one afternoon and met us for lunch and a trip to the Children's Museum. Reagan was off of school and since she usually misses out on our trips we went just for her.

Brett reviving Daddy, "CLEAR!" Thank goodness Brett was able to save him....not sure I could do this alone!!

Reagan driving the ambulance.

Hot air balloon ride anyone?

Learning how airplanes fly......I think you can see Brett asking the question, 'How does it DO that?"
