Brett and his laundry

Tuesday is bring your laundry down day here.....Brett usually has a creative way of getting it from point A to point B. This is what I found the other day. Backpacks and a play dog kennel filled with dirty laundry headed to the laundry room. At least is made it there, I guess.....

Operation play set!!

Some assembly required! Good work babe....even the slide had to be assembled, luckily Scott was able to do a bulk of the work in the garage in the evenings. He yelled for help when extra hands were needed.

We hauled three big pieces to the backyard once he'd assembled as far as he could without needing to join them. Brett did whisper to me at this point and said, "Mom, I don't think it looks right!?!" Poor guy thought Daddy had really messed up and didn't realize he wasn't done yet.

Brett was a big helper. He fetched screws, bolts, and tools and searched for the right pieces of wood Daddy needed.

Getting closer!

Nothing beats two year old help! "Wat dis Daddy?" "Here go Daddy!"

Brett's a little addicted to permanent marker....he's been writing his name on everything, to include the play table upstairs! Grrrrr.

She intently watched Scott work, it was super cute to watch.

Addy giving Daddy a little extra push with the drill! Almost done!

Done! First test run by Brett!

Two thumbs up from Reagan! Thanks, Dad!

The big two and the neighbor boy testing things out.

All four checking things out the next day! Many hours will be spent on this play set. We're thankful that Grandparents agreed to send money for Christmas vs. countless other things they don't really need so we could save for a play set. Between Christmas and Birthday money we saved to pay for half of the set and happily paid the rest to get it in before Scott left for Yuma for a few weeks.

Popsicles!

It's hot enough for Popsicles outside, it was last week at least. Here are the kiddos enjoying a cold treat together. Brady was a bit confused on how the whole Popsicle thing works...goofy boy.

Now it's upright but still not quite there, bud! These two were SO expressive with their treats I couldn't narrow down the pics, so enjoy!

Yum!
Slerp!

Crunch!

Schlup!

Brrrr!

A messy, handsome boy!

The Weathers family comes for a visit

Reagan, Brett, Brannen and Brady enjoying the trampoline.

We introduced them to Just Dance and they LOVED it! Brannen had a ball! Krista who was literally days from having number two rocked it as well. We happily report that Adalene Sarah is now here and well and beautiful!

Addison rockin' the microphone and licking it too!

Adam is such a good sport. He was very accommodating to Reagan and her request to play Just Dance.
Then..........ROCK BAND! How fun. They liked that one too!

Scott and Adam. Good buddies from TBS and ever since. They'll be headed to Quantico, VA soon so hopefully we'll get to see them again before they go North. We'll CERTAINLY make a trip up to see them in Quantico as our friends the Attwoods are headed there too!

Miss Thing

The other day Addison insisted on wearing her jammie pants....even after I forced her to get dressed she wanted them back on....whatever!

Here's Addison helping with laundry. As I pull the clothes out to fold them she tells me whose they are and is usually correct!

Morning snack.

The little two enjoying blueberries and bananas (beebee's and nana's) and watching Clifford!

Awwww....she's saying, "Here go, Braby!"

Addison is taking Brady's picture with the binoculars and saying, "Cheeeez!"

Addy in the pot....if only she were that excited about sitting on the potty!

Who knew we had a cat. One two year old managed to get yarn EVERYWHERE in only a matter of minutes. Nope, not Brady..... Addy cat!

Sister was in the pot so Brady took the basket. His new favorite saying, "MOM! MOM! MOM, WATCH!".

Mutiple sides of Brady

Showing off his bling one minute in the bathtub, then..........

lacing the dog treats with Comet. Sadly, these pictures are in sequence. Only minutes after getting out to the bathtub and his jammies on I found him nearly feeding the dog the tainted treats. Luckily, Buddy was sniffing it long enough and wondering about its safety for me to notice. Needless to say he got rewashed and dressed after this. My, my.

Garden prep

When big brother and big sister leave a bucket full of mud and water in the backyard the two year old WILL be awe struck and doused in mud upon finding it and the outfit WILL go straight to the trash can when the day is over.

Brady helps dig.

Addison is working on getting all the grass out of the new garden. We can't wait to plant in in a couple of weeks. While we slaved in the garden.......

........Brett imagined away. It amazes me what this kid thinks up. My goodness. He's anxious to plant sunflowers near the shed....soon, Bud, soon!

At softball...

This is us trying to watch Reagan tryout for softball. Addison was less than pleased, as you can see. Myself, Brady, and their friend Elizabeth (next to Brady) think she was being a TAD dramatic. Not to distract the practice we headed to the playground and this is the face we got.............

Now she's happy. Good grief..... She was pretty proud of herself for climbing so, so high up.

Brady had to prove he could do it too and better....sibling rivalry.

Miss Addy LOVES the swings.

But wasn't happy when I told her that this swing was too big for her....

Brady chasing the birds. Against my better judgement I pointed out the birds that were in the field next to the playground....and off he went chasing them and yelling, "ducks!"

BUNCO

Here I am at March Bunco with the bell! This month had a Mardi Gras theme and was at my friend Brandy's house. I just love this group of gals. I'm thankful they invited me to play! I truly look forward to our time together each month.

Just Dancin'

These kiddos NEVER get sick of Just Dance on the Wii. Here they are jammin' to, Who let the dogs out.

Upward Celebration

Here's Reagan sitting with (shhh, her crush) Chandler at the Upward end of season celebration. We got to see an illusionist and it was awesome!

This is our friend Randal. Reagan fell in love with him first. He teaches her Sunday School and she just adores him. He's the kind of guy that doesn't mind elementary aged kids to hang all over him....more power to him. Scott and I got to know him even better during Upward basketball as he is one of the coordinator's at the church. Brett adores him as well and the babies now RUN to his side when they see him at church. Sometimes Randal will go play with them and the other itty bitty's while I'm at MOPS or Bible Study. Brady calls him Ranall. He has a twin sister so he's got a soft spot for our babies. Scott and he have become friends and they've enjoyed a seafood fest together at his parents home here in New Bern and some Sunday afternoon basketball. I keep telling his family members that I'm going to have to hire him to come play with the kids when Scott is deployed!
Coach Rob sitting with Brett and the rest of the Cougars!

Flying table! What a great show with an God centered theme. Have I mentioned I love this church?
