Christmas parade. Flotilla. Uncle Philip stops by.

We had a busy Saturday. Reagan danced in the New Bern Christmas parade.

 Go Happy Feet dancers!

 Best view in town!

I love that I captured Brady's web shooter. The truck you see what carrying a real live spider man. I exclaimed to Brady, "Brady, LOOK! Shoot him a web!" So, it did, but he trust his had up so fast one may have though he was giving him the finger! Spidey is his favorite part of this parade every year!
About done. I caught a picture of Ms. Johnetta (red shirt in car). She is Addison and Brady's teacher this year at Temple Preschool. The LOVE Ms. Nedda, as they call her.

We save our bread heels for the birds/ducks at the river. Right after the parade we had to be down at Union Point Park for Brett to handout hot chocolate with his fellow scouts for the Flotilla. The sea gulls are crazy! Add in a brother tossing bread right above your head so they dive bomb you and you have some good old fashion entertainment!

Addy and Brady riding in style with Philip over to the scout tent. No shyness here.

This was our first flotilla and how fun. The boats decorate then parade one way, are judged, then parade back.
The kiddos handing out free hot cocoa and candy canes to the crowd.

A pretty boat as the sun goes down and the bridge goes up.

 Craft table.

More boats. This last one here won, I think. Each of the reindeer is a different little boat.

The line for hot chocolate. It got a bit chilly so it was a hit!

Scott and Philip. It was a quick stay but we're glad it worked out that he could be so close and swing by.

Geode

This is the Geode we got while on vacation in the mountains. Brett broke it open and we were hoping to find one with more pretties inside, but it was kind of a dud. A good life lesson.....

Grandma and Grandpa Schmitz visit. Thanksgiving 2012. Reagan turns 10!

Scott parents came for a Nov. visit this year. They were here over Thanksgiving, which was also Reagan's 10th birthday. They stuck with tradition and made popcorn balls, which the kids always enjoy. Scott and I were out on the town. An amazing date that consisted of a sports bar and watching the Cyclones lose (for the second time that day, football then basketball). We then put air in the tires and went to Wal Mart to do some Christmas shopping since we didn't have kiddos. I think we were home by 10, we're a happening couple! lol
Reagan wanted a Justin Bieber cake so I bought a cake that hadn't been written on and the cut out the Biebs and the wording from one of those "teen beat" type magazines. I laminated them to sit nice on the cake. She really loved it, which was the goal!
One of her gifts from us was a Nintendo DS. She and Brett had been sharing one for a couple of years and both really like it so I found a nice used one on our yard sale site. She had no clue it was used, but my checkbook sure did!

She chose to go to the movies for her birthday so we went to Wreck it Ralph. Cute movie even with 5 or so trips to the potty between Addison and Brady!

Snuck a pic of Reagan and Grandpa having some alone time at the piano.

We had Thanksgiving meal with our friends Jena and Chuck and their four boys at their place. The day after all the ladies, minus Addy, went shopping and got pedis. Fun!

Grandma and Grandpa drove this time and brought along some Christmas gifts. Grandpa let them open this one early so they could all play together. They had fun making circuits.
Group picture before they started their drive back to Iowa.

Park day!

We love warm Nov. days and for some reason daddy was home too....a bonus.
