Picnic

Reagan and Brett had an outside picnic the other day after they each got done with their respective camps. Brett spent three hours each morning at his old preschool and teacher Ms. Ali. She did themed days, everything from bubbles to camping, to painting to sports. He'll go again in July for five more fun filled mornings.
Reagan spent the mornings of the last two weeks at Safety Village. As soon as I have the energy to upload the pictures from her last day those will be on here too.

Reagan and cousin Makenzi.....Rea had a mouth full of chocolate brownie and wouldn't open her mouth....if she had the picture probably wouldn't have made the cut here. LOL.

Sprinkler Fun

Reagan and Brett enjoyed some time in the sprinkler the other day. It's been so hot out some days I haven't even let them out to play. We're so glad it's going to be nice out for the next couple of days!

Playing at the Children's Museum. Reagan thinks crutches would be cool......I'm sure if she ever has to really use them she'd change her mind!!

We're sooooo happy that Grandma and Connie came for a visit. The kids had a great time and they watched the kids one night so Scott and I could go out to dinner and a movie....seriously the first time we've been out in Iowa City alone since we moved here 1 1/2 years ago. We had a nice time. Thanks Mom and Con!

Brett at T Ball

Brett Man on first base.
Getting ready to hit! He's young for his team, but holds his own quite well.

Scott's been out of town, but was able to make it to Brett's first game. Parents are encouraged to be out there giving direction.....super cute.

Ready for some action!

Brett at his first T ball game. He LOVED it!

Big Boy Brady

Here's Brady dressed like a big boy.....I remember Brett wearing this shirt, boo hoo. He is handsome though!!
I couldn't pass up a picture of his cute little duck butt looking back at me during nap time!

Scandinavian Days

At the Scandinavian Days parade in Story City. They collected a lot of candy....oh yippee!
Here is a pick of the kids sitting on the "Green Bench". For the non R-S folks this bench used to sit outside of the Principal's office in the hallway at the middle school (grades 5-8) so when people got in trouble a teacher would send them to the bench. It was a small lesson in humiliation when your classmates and the rest of the school, for that matter, would see that you were being punished for something. Of course society has gone soft and the bench was looked at as a negative and embarrassing for kids and has since been taken out of the school. During the festival it was brought out and used as a fundraiser to raise money to save an old building downtown. I can proudly say I never got sent to the bench. I'm not so sure Scott can say the same.........Reagan has a mad face since I told her it was the naughty bench.
As for the rest of my Scandi Days pics, they are lost forever.....for some reason when I uploaded pics they didn't all upload and I, of course, didn't check as this has never happened before. Luckily the pics are ones I can redo.
