Scott's buddy Lamont came through town this week on his way to the east coast. Lamont was Scott recruiter when he enlisted in 1997 (think that's the year). Anywho, they've been buddies ever since and have been able to run into each other here and there along the way. I hadn't see him since we were in Quantico five years ago....strange to think the last time I saw him Reagan wasn't even 2 yet...yikes! He got to see the whole fire team this time around. I'm so glad we could meet up for lunch on his way through.

Daddy set up the tent and the three of them slept out all night.....they lasted through the on and off rain showers until 5 a.m.!! They were cold and soaked but loved every second of it...the kids, that is....not Scott!!

My sister and her kids came to Iowa City to play for a couple of days. I set up some play stations for the kids....they had fun, but I think it took me longer to set it up than it did for them to lose interest....geesh.
